A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion: There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin. Allow me to restate that number: Over the last several months Wisconsin ‘s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world. More men under arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined. These men deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin , to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan ‘s 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world …. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It’s millions more.

Overall it’s true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don’t possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain, what army of 2 million would want to face 30, 40, 50 million armed citizens.

The point? America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower. Hunting — it’s not just a way to fill the freezer. It’s a matter of national security. That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Don’t ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns, for the sake of our freedom.

Food for thought when next we consider gun control.

There is massive flooding in the Mississippi and repeatedly it has been decided to flood farm land to "save cities". Millions of acres of farm land destroyed so the people that are "saved" in the cities won't have food and food prices nation wide will be affected?
Knowing flooding was going to happen the FEDS wait to open flood gates until the water is at the maximum that can be held back instead of openning them earlier when the run off could be keep at a lower level. By openning them sooner the peak level could have been reduced.

Or find any of Obama’s high school or college classmates;

Or locate any of his college papers or grades;

Or determine how he paid for both a Columbia & a Harvard education;

Or discover which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980’s;

Or even find Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis on racism.

They just can’t seem to uncover any of this. Yet, the public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth!

And that's the story that we're not seeing."

Ok, I'm not saying people should go around having kids without forming the base of a family, but come on Huckabee - is that statement based off of any factual information? I truly hope that this isn't our best shot at beating Obama in 2012. This election is going to be won off of swing voters. That means, our boy, needs to be a little more level-headed than wild mouth Huckabee.

So, am I the only person that thinks this is mildly offensive and poor representation of our political party?]]>

A local rancher told them of his 12 year old daughter being kidnapped and held ransom by Cartel members. And they say this violence isnt bleeding over? The death of Rob Krentz should have told them that, or the home invasions in Cochise county AZ, or the 900 attacks on border partol agents in the Tucson sector alone last year.
